My name is Josiah Ubando, also known as “BrahKruz”, and I am running for the House of Representatives, District 49.

My decision to run for office came after participating in public testimonies on several bills in the 2024 legislative session and witnessing firsthand how our legislative process works. It became clear to me that we need more everyday people who genuinely care about our community, rather than career politicians who often run unopposed regardless of their performance.

I am committed to being a representative who listens to and advocates for the needs of our residents. My goal is to help bring Hawaii back to its roots—a place where everyone can thrive and feel supported. I am running because you deserve better, and I am determined to work for a brighter future for all of us. Let’s create laws and policies that reflect our shared values and aspirations.
